While the architect was working, he was sitting in the house making sure that each stone was put exactly in place so that the final design of the house would look like it was from the inside. As he worked on the outside of the house, the inside design was getting drawn so that when he finished the house would fit exactly the way he had planned.
After finishing the travertine house, the architect started putting up the windows. He was using the same kind of travertine that he used for the construction of the walls so that he could have the windows of the house to match the travertine patterns. The windows of this particular home are made in a different style that will make the windows look like they are being made from the original house of the Portuguese.
